Dashboard

All the important facts and figures about your BMW at a glance. You can display the key figures that are most important to you in different sizes on two custom dashboards. You can also define two favorites that are shown on almost every page of the display. You can choose from a list of 50 values.

Fault memory & data logger

With the data display, you can read out all the control units in the vehicle and delete any faults without having to connect a laptop or other applications every time – it’s that easy! With the data logger, you can record test drives and evaluate them later or send them to your tuner.

With the Performance app, you can carry out acceleration measurements quickly and easily at any time. You can freely select the measuring range and the last 5 results are displayed immediately. The vector data display works with ultra-modern GNSS technology, which offers the most accurate measurements of all measuring devices on the market at a sampling rate of 30 Hz. The GNSS chip implemented in the VCU can also extend the collected satellite measurements via sensor fusion and dead reckoning. This is particularly helpful if obstacles such as bridges and tunnels appear during your measurement run and the signal to the sky is interrupted for a brief moment. This technology is used, for example, in self-driving vehicles.

One of the impressive features of the vector data display is its high-resolution 4.3″ screen with capacitive touch function and 16-bit color depth. The vector data display for the F2X series is in an ideal viewing and input position in relation to the driver. It can be operated and read quickly and easily. The original air vent of the vehicle is replaced with our panel.

The VCU – Vector Control Unit – controls all functions of the data display. We offer a wide range of internal sensors and interfaces and therefore have optimum control over all vehicle-relevant data.

Technology

GNSS Performance Meter

We use a 30Hz GNSS multiband (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO) sensor for precise acceleration measurement. Dead reckoning and sensor fusion of gyroscope and acceleration sensors enable us to determine a very precise location.

50 channel dashboard

Thanks to high-speed CAN integration, we are able to read out a large number of sensors from your car simultaneously and display their values in real time.

Suitable for:

The display fits all BMW F20 – F23 1 Series and 2 Series models up to LCI 1 incl. M2 with N55 engine. It does not fit LCI2 models, such as the M2 Competition. A separate display will be released for these models.

Updateable

You can update both the vector control unit and the data display via the PC software and thus obtain new functions. An app is in development.
